APPOINTMENT POLICY | JAMILAH BEAUTY STUDIO
We appreciate your cooperation with our salon policies, helping us deliver an exceptional, luxury experience every time.
BOOKING & DEPOSITS
• All appointments require a 20% non-refundable deposit.
• Deposits are strictly non-refundable and will be applied toward your total service cost.
RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
• We require 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling.
• Appointments may be rescheduled once within 30 days of your original date.
(Example: An appointment booked March 1 must be rescheduled before March 31.)
• Cancellations made within 48 hours, unconfirmed appointments 24 hours prior, or no-shows result in deposit forfeiture.
• No-shows also incur a $50 inconvenience fee on top of the lost deposit.
LATE ARRIVAL
• Notify us immediately if running late.
• Arriving 30 minutes or more late without notice is considered a no-show, resulting in deposit loss plus the additional $50 fee.
• Please allow flexibility, as start times may slightly vary due to prior appointments.
HAIR PREPARATION
• Hair must be freshly washed, completely detangled, product-free, and blow-dried straight.
• Hair must measure at least 4 inches at the shortest point. If shorter, please schedule a consultation first.
• Improper preparation may incur additional fees.
• Wash and blow-dry services are available as booking add-ons.
BRAIDING SERVICES
• All braided services include premium synthetic braiding hair. Please thoroughly review individual service descriptions before booking.
• Base hair for soft locs and butterfly locs is included.
• Bohemian styles come standard with a premium synthetic blend; human hair upgrades are available at an additional cost.
• Standard braid lengths are noted in service descriptions. Additional lengths must be booked as add-ons.
• We do not offer mixed-color blends for mid-back lengths—mixed blends are only available for waist-length or longer.
PAYMENTS
• Cash preferred. All major credit/debit cards accepted ( 4% processing fee ).
• For smoother checkout, please complete our card authorization form prior to debit/credit transactions.
• Zelle, Cash App, or Apple Cash are no longer accepted.
SALON ETIQUETTE
• To ensure a relaxing atmosphere, extra guests are not permitted.
• Children are allowed only if receiving a service.
• Please inform us of allergies or sensitivities in advance.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
• If you’re unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours.
• While refunds are not offered, we are committed to promptly addressing and correcting your concerns.
